Get your makeup festival ready

Festival season is just around the corner and we want to make the most of it by having show-stopping makeup! Whenever I go to a festival I try to make my makeup as unique and out there as possible.
Rainbow shadow
You can never go wrong with a rainbow on your eye during the festivals. It makes such a statement and brings colour to the whole occasion. Select your colours correctly to avoid fading. I recommend the Sleek® palettes at only € 11 at Whelehans Pharmacy; you can’t beat the price!!
Statement eyeliner
Whether it is bright and colourful eyeliner or black geometric eyeliner, you can make a statement with the right tools. I recommend your eyeliner of choice has a sharp tip to create the perfect wings. Catrice® offer affordable colourful eyeliners starting at €2.59 at Whelehans Pharmacy.
Ombre lips
This is one of my favourite trends for a festival! It’s so unique and easy to achieve; all you need is a lip liner, a lipstick and gloss if you wish. Line your lips with the lip liner but feather it slightly onto the lips. Then take a lighter coloured lipstick of your choice and apply it to the centre of the lips. Go back with the lip liner feathering it over the lipstick to merge the two colours together. I find Catrice® and Elizabeth Arden® have the best lip products to achieve this look.
