It is not often in this column that I discuss a cosmetic product that has health benefits but the results on people’s skin that I see from Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream means it would be a shame not to share its benefits for many dry and irritable skin conditions. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream softens and re-hydrates skin on all parts of body not just the face; it has also excellent results for dry skin on arms, elbows, legs, and feet. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is one of the best products to heal chapped lips. It works by preventing free radicals; which are unstable molecules present in the likes of UV light and which lead to premature ageing. Therefore Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream acts as an excellent anti-ageing cream.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream benefits
Active ingredients of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream include petrolatum, mineral oil and other oils. The Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream moisturises skin for up to eight hours, hence the name. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is formulated to hydrate skin and acts as an all-purpose skin care product that can be used on the face to shape the brows and hydrate skin around the eyes to reduce puffiness and wrinkles under the eyes. It hydrates rough, patchy skin on the elbows and heels, where skin can become rough and cracked in hot, dry weather.
How to Use Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream
Apply small amounts of the cream and massage into the skin until it is no longer visible. For you ladies that are using expensive anti-ageing serums, it is best to apply those first, so that the active ingredients can penetrate the deeper layers of the skin. It can’t provide amazing results overnight. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is best used regularly for best results.
Because of the potentially irritating ingredients like mineral oils and fragrances in Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, it can very rarely cause redness, rashes, and general irritation in those with sensitive skin. If any of these symptoms occur, discontinue using the product and the irritation should clear up within a few days; if it doesn’t you can speak to your pharmacist or GP as you may need something like hydrocortisone to clear up the rash and redness. To avoid issues, do not apply Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream to broken or irritated skin and test the product on a small patch of skin and leave for a few hours if you’ve never used it before.
Finally, my initial question, is it a wonder cream? Not technically but I know people who say it is and they couldn’t survive without it due to its hydrating effects
